Taleyania

The up-and-coming online-based beauty shop was founded by Taleyania Smith—a young Black budding entrepreneur who showed a profound enthusiasm for learning business and technology at a young age. She gained her first experience working in sales and customer service roles, which later helped her sharpen her business skills. Although she had little to no knowledge of the cosmetic industry, she found joy in serving customers; which ultimately led her to open her own beauty supply store in the summer of 2023.

And so, Taleyania Beauty Haven (branding as Taleyania) was born. "I first discovered the Kellure Beaute brand after trying it out for the first time, as I loved wearing dark lipsticks. I went online to learn more about the company, and that’s when I saw they were looking for retailers, distributors, and entrepreneurs to sell their products. I thought it was a sign from God. So, I contacted a close friend and pitched the idea of selling the product. Then, we did a test trial, purchasing a minimum order amount of Kellure Beaute in seven lip shades, and after seeing the success, we restocked."

Taleyania Beauty Haven was created with a clear vision: to sell beauty products with ethically sourced, cruelty-free, vegan, natural, and organic ingredients aimed at teenagers and adult women. The company is registered and currently operates from Westmoreland, Jamaica.
